I need to know what IMAP4 virtual server is used for.  At
work we use only SMTP virutal server and all our users are
on Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2002.  For educational reason I
would like to learn about IMAP 4 virtual server.

In the SMTP virtual server properties, under Access Control /
Authentication, is it ok to ONLY have Integrated Windows
Authentication selected? Will this in any way prevent off-site users
from sending mail through the server, provided they give a valid AD

Is there any free reporting tool for Smtp receiving domains, sending
domains, Total message size, message count etc. ?

Don't know what I did but it happened after installing the
latest patch.
Now all incoming and outgoing mail is stuck in the Default
SMTP Queue called "Messages awaiting directory lookup."

I configured a nntp feed to msnews.microsoft.com as in the book on our
exchange 2003 server.
In the log I get an 502 access denied, although msnews doesn't need auth. As

The SMTP virtual server on one of our client's Exchange
