I am experiencing an OWA issue on our exchange server. (Exchange 2003 SP2)
I am running an exchange server on a multi-homed server, - internal and
external NIC.
Web access to the internal NIC works.
DirectPush Not Working, Response Status 823 Aug 2006 15:00 GMT1
ActiveSync on my PocketPC syncs via the cell connection, but DirectPush
doesn't seem to be working because new mail is delivered every 15
minutes instead "as they arrive".  No error messages are displayed on
the device, but I enabled verbose logging, and pasted below what the

we have recently deployed windows mobile devices, several Treo 700W and
Motorla Q's all Winodws Mobile 5.0. After trying many things the only
way to get them to Synch was to UNCHECK "Enable Form Base
Authentication" in Exchange System Manager, under Server - Protocols -

inquiring about the best option for getting email on a PDA over there
as he doesn't want to lug around his laptop.  Current voice plan is

Can anyone shed light on this error, I sorted after hard resetting the
device but am concerned about it occuring on other devices I support as it's
cause is unexplained. ASLog.txt showed everything OK except at the end:

I have an Exchange 2003 SP2 Front-End / Back-End server topology.  The
Exchange 2k3 Back-End server is also a Global Catalogue server.  I am using
Forms Based Authentication with OWA,  and RPC over HTTPS.  All of that works
fine.

Our users have WM4 and WM5 (build 14928.2.2.0) smartphones which synch
just fine with our single Exchange 2003 SP2 box.
We want to be able to remotely wipe the phones so I have installed the
Mobile Admin Web from Microsoft.com and the site seems to be running
