I have a UK orange treo 650, which Iam trying toconnect to a SBS 2003 exchange server. I am not using ISA, the firewall has ports 443 and 80 open to the server. The SSL certificate is simply the external ip address of the server, as our domain name is hosted by our ISP.

I have a Verizon Treo 650 that I am trying to synch with an Exchange 2003 server. The error I received is "There was a problem syncing messages. (Net 123E) here was a problem connecting to the server. Check your network or server settings and try again."

Have a test build of WS2003 with Exchange on it, nothing special, ActiveSync working OK with pretty much the defaults. Notice that sometimes PPCs begin syncing immediately (either over WLAN or GPRS), and most times there's a 10 sec delay whilst the "Connecting..." is displayed ...
