We are currently having major problems with our Exchange Server. It's
Exchange 2000, with SP3 and latest roll-up, running on Windows 2000.
Two weeks ago, we started to get EventID 1025 and 1160 messages like

I am unable to start microsoft exchange information store.
I am running exchange 2003.
when I want to re-start the microsoft exchange information store it fails and

I need some help. I create a new EDB file.
I mount it but when I open Outlook, I see all messages but when I try to
open message a popup message say that I ca'n't open message.

got out.  the server has norton and well as trendmicro scan mail on it. I am

Our company has a 9Gb Priv1.stm file and a 4.5Gb Prev1.edb file. A user
tried to email a 1Gb file which i have now removed from the sent items
in their mailbox and the inbox of the other users mailbox. Will this
email have caused the Prev1 files to be larger?
