 Our exchange server 2000 cannot mount mailbox store. Ithe event log show
the error as below.
Error Type: error

I have an Small Business Server 2003 running Exchange 2003 SP1. About once
or twice a day, these errors are logged in the event viewer and the user's
mailbox freezes:

Here is the scenario:
1) Our server running Exchange 2003 under Windows 2003 Server crashed.  We
were able to recover all the files including the data stores (.edb files)
2) We have another server running Exchange 2003 and would like to import the

My exchange 2000 server crashed and the last backup was corrupted. The only
thing I could recover were the log files. I could only restore the databases
from a very old backup (1 year ago) and successfully mounted the mailbox
store.

I am running Exchange 2003, my priv1.edb database is 11.4GB.  I had all my
users clean up their mailboxes & I ran ESEUTIL but no additional space was
found.  If I add up all the mailbox sizes it comes to 7.5GB; why doesn't
USEUTIL clean up that space?  I know I can upgrade to SP2 ...

I am running out of disk space.  My H drive has the edb and stm files under
the H:\EXCHSRVR\MTADATA.  I just moved the public folders to the
G:\ExchangeStore\mdbdata directory successfully.
Is there any reason I can't move the priv.stm file to the same directory

My Exchange 2003 server crashed.  I was able to copy the Exchsvr directory
from the crippled machine.  Is there any way I can restore these files to a
new server?
