for some reason when my clients launch outlook they see the subject line of
their messages but when they open the e-mail it is blank?
i have a guess it is a virus detection program that caused this but need
someone to verify. i got the following message from our anti virus program.

Does the capability to recover INDIVIDUAL messages exists on Exchange
2003???  I had a user who accidentally deleted about 4 emails that they woud
like recovered, but I only see that the entire Mailbox can be recovered.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can somebody help me as our server crashed twice within
10 days due to the same error, the E00.log file missing
or been moved or been merged with one other log file.

I hove a couple of questions:
1) How can I measure the store size on exchange 2000?
2) I am not sure but I think my store size is about 14.5G,
and even people did some cleanup, it didn't change too

We recently had to perform a hard rebuild of our Exchange
databases.  Everything went well until a few days later
when one user (Outlook 2002 client) could not send email.  
Their Outbox shows one new message to send yet there are

Our clients server had crashed after a reboot there was no Active directory
therefore no exchange resent we then copied all the necessary files to
another HDD (MDBDATA Folder) and all other files I needed I then reinstalled
the server and exchange as it was before recreated all ...

today's morning I have found that the partition which have
the exchange system is nearly full and the outlook stopped
working,so I did what I used to do everytime,i REMOVE THE
log files and I restarted the EXchange services but the

The following file was deleted by my Domain AntiVirus. It
seems it was deleted at almost the exact time that
Exchange was attempting to move it or re-create it. Now my

The Information Store shuts down and creates a DrWatson
report. Where can I send this report for review? Do I
also send the user dump file as well?

I'm having a terrible time trying to restore an database fron exchange 2000.
Using the ntbackup program i'm receiving the following error. En the
"Temporary log file directory"
"Unable to create the log path. Check to make sure that it is a valid path".

Hope you can help. Following a disk catastrophy at the weekend, I have been
trying to restore an Exchange Server 2K backup. For reasons too painful to
go into, I only have access to an old back up (over a month ago). I have
restored this to a new disk but I cannot pursuade Exchange ...

When I try to restore mail from a previous crash from PST's using import to the mail system, it copies everything beautifully except the contacts, which tells me Cannot copy items/cannot move items etc
Any clues?

I have no mail flow on my ex2k server, store is up no
inter office mail traffic or any traffic; no sasser virus
reinstalled sp3 w/ rollup patch. I can see mail leaving

We often receive emails from outside the organisation
with attachments larger than 2mb. My problem is that we
can't reject these emails because it would mean lose of
orders and lose of time.

Hi,I moved mailboxes from Ex5.5 to Ex2k,but now all of
services on the second DC that is ex2k server too couldnot
start and I get the below message when try to start them:
