I this is elementary, but can 1 Exchange server in a parent domain host
mailboxes for accounts in a child domain ?
If so, How about for an account in a domain that is not a child but has an
exernal trust to the domain with Exchange ?

cluster siiting in the DMZ. At the back-end we have a three node A/A/P

My thought is that we will leave internal domain naming conventions alone,

multiple domains. I am looking to get in to hosted exchange service
business, I see some busineses out there but can not find how it is possible

Here is my situation:
I have a DC running w2k and exchange 2003.  I am going to rebuild this
box with 2003 and leave as a member server, it is currently having a
lot of issues that need to be addressed.

We need to add a number of new exchange users. Can we just add another server
to the existing Exchange organization and point the new users to it. Have
them use the new server name? Or do We have to setup a Front end - Back end
configuration to utilize multiple servers on one ...

We are in the process of switching over to using SAN storage for exchange
2003.  Our storage guys have said that if we have a LUN that is presented to
exchange that is 100gb in size and in 6 months we need more space, they can
thru the storage system expand the volume of the LUN ...

i only have 1 exchange server and OWA configured for SSL.. Will i have
problems using the active sync to sync my mails in those cellphone with
active sync capabilites? Do i need to create another virtual directory for
the active sync?
