I this is elementary, but can 1 Exchange server in a parent domain host mailboxes for accounts in a child domain ? If so, How about for an account in a domain that is not a child but has an exernal trust to the domain with Exchange ?

Hi Newsgroup, All inbound email to our Exchange setup will first pass through an AV/NLB cluster siiting in the DMZ. At the back-end we have a three node A/A/P mailbox cluster.

I created a new domain in the same forest but I can't seem to get the exchange server 2003 SP2 (in the root of the forest) to manage accounts in the new domain. Am I missing something, or is a seperate exchange server required for each

Our company is planning a name change soon. We've already checked on available domain names and have reserved many. My thought is that we will leave internal domain naming conventions alone, but that we will obviously want an additional domain name for email.

i only have 1 exchange server and OWA configured for SSL.. Will i have problems using the active sync to sync my mails in those cellphone with active sync capabilites? Do i need to create another virtual directory for the active sync?
