All of the current whitepapers are geared towards perf and capacity planning for MAPI users. I need help with how to design the servers and storage for about 50,000 users that will be regulated to just OWA, POP and IMAP. Anyone have any ideas?

I am trying to find out if it works to have an Exchange 2003 Enterprise Edition Back-end server and use an Exchange 2003 Standard edition server for the Front-end. Also I would like to know what limitations this senario might produce.

I just setup a test-case with a new win2k3 forest I installed the forest (a.company.com) with the first domain (a.company.com) --> Win2k3 SP1 I did the exchange 2003 forest and domain prep and installed exchange 2003.

When logging into outlook web access in exchange I notice that you have to use the domain\user syntax to specify your user name and domain. I am looking for a way to auto add this feature. Is there a way to do this so my lazy users, no longer have to type that?
