I am trying to get a plan together for exchange disaster
recovery.  I was hoping I could get some input on how
others are implementing it at other places.  Any offline
backups servers or recovery storage groups, just anything

I am up against the wall as far as our e-mail capacity is concerned.  I can
always buy more disk space, but I can't buy more hours in the day.  Our

planned to have an OWA box as a front end server and a
SMTP box for sending messages. Also I will have an ISA
server in the DMZ zone and an IAS server for VPN

Currently my front-end and back end Exch2000 (will migrate to Exch2003) are

I need help regarding the subject. The scenario is that
our company wants to upgrade exchange server from 5.5 to
2003. The network infrastructure from extranet to intranet

Has anyone needed to and managed to automatically copy the GAL to a public
folder? If so how?
The reason I need to do this is that we have an application which needs to
access the GAL but can only see a Public folder.

I cannot find a specific list of features that are not
available when running E2K3 in a 2000 AD environment.  Can
anyone point me to a list somewhere?

We currently get mail from our ISP who has a mail server on their domain and
we POP mail from it.  We are going to install a new server on our domain
which will run win2003 and ex2003.  How can I move the mail from their EX2000
server and put it on ours?  I immediately think of ...

I am using Exchange 2003, I want to get copy of all incoming, outgoing mails
to a local mail box.

I am thinking of using an external hard drive to backup my company's data.
Its about 40gigabytes worth of data to be back up.
the hard drive will backup the data once a week then be taken offsite for
storage.
