Are there any best practice rules and tweaks one should use with Hyper-V?
We use Hyper-V on 2008 R2 servers (multiple hosts) each host has 4 NICs
where 2 of them are connected to LAN as team (HP teaming) remaining 2 NICs
are connected to iSCSI storage (2 different routes for MPIO) ...

I want to backup all my virtual machines, as a whole. Not just files
on a virtual machine, I want to grab the whole virtual machine. Is
there a way to automate this? I have about 5 virtual servers, each has
between 3-5 virtual machines running.

I just installed a second guest OS (Windows Server 2008) on a Windows Server
Hyper-V parent. I used Hyper-V manager to set up the processors, disks, and
network adapter. But after installing the second guest OS it says no network
adapter is installed. Did I miss a basic step?

When creating a new virtual machine in HyperV mgt console, there is no option
to specify what type of disk you want to create - either fixed disk size
(preferred for SAN storage) or dynamically expanding  disk. The wizard just
goes ahead and created a dynamically expanding disk, ...

I have a Dell Windows 2008 server running Hyper-V.
It has 3 Virtual Machines on it.
I can ping all of these servers from my Windows 7 client with not problem.

Sharepoint MOSS 2007 (win 2K8 R2)
Exchange Mail 2007 (win 2K3)

Running Windows Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 on a Dell R710 w/two Quad Port NICs.
The first is the onboard Broadcom BCM5709C NetXtreme II Gig E the second is
an Intel(R) Gigabit VT Quad Port Server Adapter.
By default all the ports are set to DHCP.
