Hi. sorry this question is so vague, but I'm not sure about the technical
details yet. I have a very old SNA server with SNA clients installed on some
PC's. I want to upgrade the clients to HIS 2006 or 2009 but not touch the
server. Does anyone know if this would work?

TN3270 connection pooling16 Mar 2010 15:08 GMT3
I've played a little with SI and I've been able to connect to our mainframe
(and run CICS transactions) through a TN3270 connection. I connect directly
to the mainframe from a .Net  WinForm application. Our CICS transactions are
conversational, I can't use TI.

I am using TI to call an RPG program on AS400 over DPC. I have created

verified the parameter types and stuff and have deployed it to TI. The
issue is that when I call the program, the parameter values are all

Problems implementing Vendor API mapping Sync Point to HIS APPC AP26 Feb 2010 10:23 GMT5
I'm trying to implement the vendor API that maps Sync Point requests to the
normal Host Integration Server APPC API. Looking at the HIS 2009 Docs under
Sync Point Examples it gives a clear indication of what’s required.
The first step of the syncpoint is to issue a SEND_DATA (or ...

WIP Objects and the "exclamation mark"17 Feb 2010 14:24 GMT5
I've developed some Windows .Net WIP components which were installed by
Visual Studio 2008 when saved.  They show up with an "exclamation point" next
to them.  I have defined a remote environment, but when I right click and
choose properties, an RE is not defined and cannot be ...
