Yes, you can change the key afterwards. Did it myself without any problem
with Vista. But you have also a license agreement for TechNet, which belongs
to a single license or server license and if you read it, it states you can
use it, but not for production environments, if i am not wrong.

of course your right what you said, technet is not for productive
environments.
i thought i only use the Technet DVD without any product key and want to
know if it works for about 30 Days?
The Second thing is if there is a difference between the Techent DVD
(Windows Server 2008) and the Original One from Microsoft Volume Licensing....
