Hello,
IU am trying to installa Windows Server 2008 (x64 and x32) on the foplowing
syste,:
Intel Pentium D 930
ASUS P5WDG2-WS
2*2GB Kingston DDR2 533MHz
ATI HD2400
ADAPTEC RAID 2230SLP with only one mirror array configured (2*73GB Seagate
10K7 U320 HDD)
PLEXTOR PX-755 SATA DVD-RW

1. Driver provided with Win2k8 does not show any HDD for installation
2. Try to load ADAPTEC Drivers for Windows 2003
2.a for x32 driver is loaded succesfully, can access array but when
restart STOP:0x0000007B appears;
try to disable at startup the request to ooad only signed drivers
but nothing to do
2.b for x64 driver cannot be loaded

ADAPTEC told drivers forSCSI 2230 are provided within win2008

I try also to Install Windows 2003 (x64 and x32) but with bult-in drivers
same problem. Providing ADAPTEC drivers setup contiue but when installaing
files to HD told me to insert floppy and cannot read data!!! but it can
during F6 procedure!!

I have just lost more than 1 day of work :(

Any idea?

Regards,
Stefano

I wouldn't expect Server 2003 drivers to install into Server 2008. Similarly
you can't use XP drivers in Vista.

As Server 2008 is basically Vista Server edition you could try using Vista
drivers from:-

http://www.adaptec.com/en-US/support/raid/scsi_raid/ASR-2230S/

No drivers for Server 2008 are listed.

Also, try putting the drivers on a removeble drive.
