We have an issue where many users share a home folder on a member win 2003
server. We create local accounts for each user. Every time a we modify the
"Home Folder" - "Local Path" on the profile tab win2003 clobbers the
security permissions on the local folder specified, to the administrator,
the user account being modified and removes the "Inherit from parent folder
flag".

How can we change behaviour to be the same as windows 2000 and leave the
permissions alone when adding the "Home Folder" - "Local Path"  to the
profile tab????

The home folder only holds a config file for our telnet service, not the MS
Telnet Service, to configure the user environment.

I don't have any expereince with that issue. You might also post in the
win2000 and server setup newsgroups.  --- Steve
