Learning Vb script or Powershell

I am new to scripting and want to learn, I m in confusion should I learn VB
script or Powershell

What would you use it for?

I use VBScript to create ".vbs" as well as ".hta"
(HTML Application) files so it's more versatile.

PowerShell is powerful and is often used for task automation.
