Hi

I have been trying to find a solution to the following issue reported by one
of our clients:

We are trying to install [Our 97 Access Runtime App] on Windows 2003 server
with Terminal Server.

We are getting the following error when users try to run the app: "Faulting
application Msaccess.exe, version 8.0.0.5903, faulting module unknown,
version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00172e60."

Any ideas?

Hello,

I've had the same problem with Access 97 applications in TS
environments. The problem was that the MS Access application had
problems with the multi processor system. You could try a solution from
AppSense. The product is calles AppSense Performance Manager with which
you can do Processor Affinity Control. You can bind the Access
application to one processor. Give them a try. You can download the
Performance Manager from the AppSense website under
http://www.appsense.com/RH
Then choose: I'am interested in Performance Manager and you will get the
right download link to the "only" Performance Manager MSI packet.
I've you've questions about this application, just ask me.

Cheers

Christoph
