hi all,

i have configured a terminal server for VB.NET  in windows 2k advanced
server.
In few of my machines terminal services client was configured i uninstalled
and reinstalled the client software. But in that machines when i am
connecting to terminal server it's saying
"teminal server session ended" but in other machines it's connecting at the
same time. I don't know why it's not connecting, i never come accross this
type of problem.

Have you checked the EventLog on the Terminal Server?
How is your licensing situation?
What OS are these clients running?
Can you ping the Terminal Server from these clients?

Mmmm, that's strange. Does this happen to both normal users and
Administrators?
Does it happen after you have logged into the Terminal Server, or
do you not even get the login dialog box from the server?
If you monitor Terminal Server Administration and then try to
connect from one of these clients, can you see if a session is
opened and then closed / disconnected?
