Hello,

I would like to know aproximatedly how many clients can "manage"
a server Athlon 2000 with 512 of Ram and a internet band width of 512/128 k.
The programm that will be run takes 30 mb of ram of the client machine and
works with SQL. Its ERP for small and medium size enterprises.

           Thanks

                       Brenda

Bandwidth: you need 20Kbps per user, so its enought for 25 users.
CPU: seems like around 20 users.
RAM: As the OS needs around 300MB, you are left with around 7 users only.
Summary: I would add 512MB RAM to the server, and try to operate 20 users.
Avi.

I do not think the link will be enough. As it is probably ADSL and not SDSL,
the upload is only 128KB. This will limit you on 5-7 users probably. If they
print a lot, even less.
