Hi,

I've just hit upon a big problem with one of my NT4 sp6
servers.  The nic went down so I installed a replacement
when I went to unbind the card i noticed that all the
services, protocols and binding dialogs were empty.  The
adaptor was shown correctly and had up to that point
performed okay.

I installed the new nic okay but I'm unable to bind it to
any thing.

When I try and add tcp/ip as a protocol it tells me it's
already installed - even though the list is blank.

I've tried re-applying sp6 and i'm loathe to restore from
backup in case I reinsatll the corruption.

I'm guessing it might be a registry corruption?

Any help would be greatfully received.

Regards

Mark...
