Recently we had a crash on an NT4 server. With that, a lot
was done including replacement of system config and
software config :-O through the ERD Repair process. Now
the server thinks it has SP4 but it has SP6. In add/remove
programs it show SP6. I'm having to reload SP6 , is there
an easier and safer way?? Thanks!

When you used the ERD older files were copied. You do need to reinstall SP6
because now you have some SP4 files on the system.

yes, and make new (actual) ERD after this!

Use of out of date ERD is dangerous.
