I want to convert an existing BDC to a member server.  How
is this done?  Will it affect any files or programs
currently installed?

Greetings --

The role of a WinNT server is determined and can be set only
during installation of the OS.  Naturally formatting the hard drive to
reinstall WinNT will also remove all applications and data.

MS doesn't support this. You may have a look at UPROMOTE. I don't have
any experience with this tool.

Ciao, Walter
