Hi.
It seems liked I wasted money on a new Program Partition Magic. I had
some trouble with my second hard drive. I deleted it using partition
Magic and now its gone. Its 120 GB but now its only 32GB. There doesnt
seem to be any way to recover that other space. It registered in BIOS
as 32GB now, and there is know way to undelete in Partition magic.
Does any body have any advice?
Im using windows xp home edition. the drive I have trouble with is my
internal slave.
thanks.

Is the BIOS set to Auto Detect the drive type & size?
Get a diagnostic utility from the hard drive manufacturer and run it on
the disk to see if it is physically sound. The diagnostic utility
should contain a zero fill option, use it to zero out the first sector
(MBR) then see if the BIOS sees the disk properly.

As mentioned by another poster, most hard drive manufacturers have
installation and diagnostic software available for download.
