I put in a battery into my NT40 server after having error saying CMOS
Battery Failed, loading defaults, Press F1, etc.

It continued to have same error, so I figured that battery was weak,
after sitting for 3 months in unused computer.  Bought a new 2032 and
put it in... same message of battery failure.

Where do I go from here?

No, David, it is fairly old... Ability MB-586VX7+ Ver 3.1 that runs on
2.2V with a K6/200 AMD chip.  It's been very reliable - until this
move from one office to another.

I meant that as an answer to "Where do I go from here?"

OK... I get your point.  lol.

I fixed it with a simple reset of the F1 switch.  On the second posts
then off again.  Been so long ago that I've done that... forgot to do
it.

CMOS battery is new and should be there for the next five years, I
hope.  Now that I boot up, on to bigger and better, eh?
Thanks Dave!

Try going into the BIOS setup, then exiting, saving the settings.
