Hey all,
I'm trying to restore a Ghost-image from a w2k server installation,
made on a HP 5i RAID controller, to a server with a 6i controller. All
i get is a BSOD 'inaccessible boot volume' :(. I DID install the
drivers for the 6i (i think) when installing the HP Mass Storage driver
pack, but for some reason it can't find it now..
I am able to boot the image on a normal PC on IDE, however..
Someone has any help for me or am I just trying something impossible?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions that might get me on the right
track here,
Jasper

I now now that it's possible using Sysprep. Prepare the system to
install the new driver using sysprep, shut down, image, and boot it on
the new server with the new RAID5 controller. Downside is that, if you
want the old server back up, it tries to install the new driver on that
server as well..
Some1 mentioned Windows 2000 Repair when booting from the W2k CD. This
*might* work on other systems, but not on ours, it hangs during the HW
detect phase of setup. Prob. due to other hardware.
Any1 other suggestions?
