Is there a way to create home folders for 1000 users in an OU in one fell
swoop? I've looked at ldifde but can't quite figure out the syntax for this
task.

TIA

Yes, there is a way to use Excel to create a CSV file that will generate users
and create home folders.

You can, by the way, generate a script that will parse a text file to generate
folders automatically.

The Window 2000 roucse kit contains a tool that allows you to generate Active
Directory objects from the command line.  You can feed it a CSV file to make
many users at once.
