I need to move data to a bigger drive. (non-system drives)  The file
structure has extensive access rights setup.  When I copy or move the data
to another drive all the access rights take on the properties of the new
drive and the old rights are lost.  Is there a way to move NT data and keep
the access rights in place?

This may help.

That works. I had a hard time at first finding robocopy.exe.  But I finally
found it at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9d467a69-57ff-4ae7-96ee
-b18c4790cffd&displaylang=en

I tried it out and it works great.

Thanks

of course this in not a Microsoft product so we cannot make any warranties

Please contact the software vendor for more detail.
