Guys,

Ive been handed an 8GB hard drive (Fujitsu) with WIN 95.  On startup it
registers as 243MB drive.  Ic ant load NT onto it as theres no room.  Icant
delete the partition because the *GB drive isnt recognised, the Bios
registers the drive as 243MB.

So I cant delete and recreate the partition and formatting doesnt change
anything.

What do I do?  Is there any nasty disk stripping software that doesnt cost
the earth?

Use delpart.exe available here:  http://www.russelltexas.com/delpart.htm

You'll need to get past the bios recognition problem before you can proceed.
Try setting the bios to auto-detect or possibly check the drive
manufacturer's web site for the correct drive details.
