Can you help.  I would like to know if its possible to clone NT4 servers?

I would like to clone existing NT4 servers including the PDC and the BDC's.

From what I've read, it next to impossible, can anyone tell me otherwise?

Regards

John

It is certainly not suported by Microsoft. The problem is typically with the
computer passwords that get changed regularly and if restore from an old
clone than you'll have to reset the passwords for the clients with netdom or
nltest. It sort of depends what your goal is. Backup? Recovery? I have
ghosted NT4/Win2k/2k3 for years for classroom setups at a training center
and that always worked just fine but all the client were cloned as well and
everything was just restored for a class from the previous setup so that
worked just fine. What is your goal?
