How long would it take to uninstall Windows NT 4.0, then
install Windows XP?  Are there instructions in the MS
Knowledge Database or elsewhere?

Thanks.

It depends your CPU and RAM,I think it's just about several minutes to
uninstall, and half an hour to install Windows XP,if your computer is fast
enought.

Before you attempt to install Windows XP your computer
must meet a minimum requirement to work properly.
Pentium III - 700
160 MB RAM
10 GB Hard Disk
Any Decent AGP video card
If your computer doesn't meet these minimums don't bother
trying to use Windows XP, there are better choices such as
Windows 2000, or keep the existing Windows NT.
