Hi, I have just finished reinstalling my NT4 and find that
I have, under Profiles, two Adminstrator directories, one
that is Administrator and the other is Administrator.000.

Can anybody help me with this?

Thanks!

Richard.

This happens if Windows NT loses some registry information
or the SAM database and is no longer able to identify
previous users.
When you reinstalled Windows created the Administrator's
folder during logon.  Becuase
C:\WINNT\Profiles\Administrator was already present (and
Windows could not identify which user it belonged to), it
created a new folder called Administrator.000 and created a
new profile there (by copying the Default User profile)
This isn't fixable (without some heavy Registry work), so
just delete or import the items from the Administrator folder.
