Can somebody provide me some references to setting up
a .netrc or .rhost-type files for NT?

TIA

To get access to other servers without having to supply
userid and password from a secure account.  The .netrc (on
unix and mainframe) contains a list of servers the user
would like to be able to connect to.  I'd eliminate
instances where userids/passwords have been embedded in
programs.

The closest thing I can think of to do this between Windows
NT servers is to use a Domain, or add trusts between
multiple domains.

Does this accomplish what you want?

You would need some kind of 3rd party software.  That's a massive security
hole (think IP spoofing) which is why most Unix admins disable r commands.
