Hello All,

Please help!  I need a program to clean registry errors, using WIN NT.
Shareware or Free ware would be best.

Thanks,

Bob

What registry errors are you having?  How do you know that you have
registry errors?  Using registry cleaners will only agravate any
problems that you may now be having.

Do not use Registry Mechanic!

That piece of crap made my computer unable to start.

Use the best Registry cleaner, "Registry First Aid" ($30). Registry
First Aid repairs incorrect entries, Registry Mechanic does not "fix"
anything, it just deletes everything.

try ccleaner
CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes
unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing
up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities
such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally
taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :) it
also Clean Registry.

I'd never advise insensitive tools like CCleaner. Apps like that that make
your system crash sooner or later. Especially, speaking of registry and
system files.

I used Registry Mechanic PC System Repair and it seemed to deposit malicious
software into the system. I began to have more problems than before. I
eventually had to do a partial system restore. I never download anything like
that from the internet. I purchased mine.
