Old, Deleted Printers Still Appear in Printers and Faxes Menu on Clients

Network printers that were added manually but have now been obsolesced or
renamed still populate the Printers and Faxes menu of our clients, even
after being deleted on the client, they come back after a reboot.

How can I get rid of these connections?
