hi

is it possible to create two different forwards entrees?

first is an forward for all dns request for the internet.

the second is an forward to an server in the private network and only the
request on the zone 10.0.0.0 should be forward to them.

thanks

Yes, but it doesn't work as you wish.

Why do you believe you need this type of forwarding?

this is an primary dns server for our privat network 192.168.0.0/24.
than we have an lan conect to an big privat network 10.0.0.0/8 and i will
forward all dns request for the 10.0.0.0/8 network to an 10.x.x.x server.
and all internet reqest should go to an public dns server.

Ah, now I understand.  Server 2003 allows forwarders by domain, just
add a new forwarder and designate the domain for which it is used.  In
DNS, expand your server, double click the Forwarders in the right
pane.  New forwarder, enter the domain and specify the DNS server.

Yes, if you upgrade to the Windows NT Server 2003 version of Microsoft's
DNS server.
