As above have an NT 4.0 domain with a Primary DNS on a NT 4.0 box. All is ok.
I have recently upgraded the secondary DNS server from NT 4.0 to Server 2003.

If l do a nslookup from a client configured to use the new secondary DNS l
get "Can't find server name for address 10.4.32.8: Non-existent domain" where
10.4.32.8 is the new secondary DNS server
