Hi,
First, I'd like to say I am not a IT professional, only trying to fix our
server, so bear with me....

A couple of days ago everyone stopped being able to go to our website -
hosted by an outside company.  I called them and they said they had been
changing DNS numbers and that we needed to change something in our server.  I
have found online HELP on the "DNS server", but when I try to run it, it says
that it is not installed - When I go to the list of services to install t, it
is not listed by "DNS".

So my quetsions are:

- is the DNS server the program I need on oru NT4 server?

- If so, how do I get it installed?

- If this is not the correct prpgram, how do I get our server to have the
correct DNS number for our company website?

- And finally, how do I get it to do this automatically in the future?

Thanks
Ted

If you did not have a DNS server before, I doubt you will have to install
one now.
If not, your ISP probably changed their DNS-servers IP-address.  Your best
changes are to call them back for more information.
