Hello All;

My DNS Is "Counting" like crazy.

UdpQueries : 45445477
UdpResponses : 45520956
TcpClientConnections : 9094553
TcpQueries : 7017550
TcpResponses : 9108472
Recursive Lookups : 11422
Recursive Responses : 10773

OK.
The "Recursive Lookups & Responses " Are staying basically steady.
With no movement in over 30-minutes. So that is about right, considering.
But all the others, Update themselves.
i.e. Udp - Queries & Reponses = every 5-seconds, they count by: 10,000
And my Log Files are filling up every couple of minutes. With DNS Zone
Transfers.

I am running a Backup DNS Server, and its counts are staying pretty low.
Not that much movement what so ever. ( Both machines are NT4 Servers, Both
are behind the same Firewall, within the next 2 weeks, the other DNS Backup
Server, will be moved behind another Firewall )

What would be causing the DNS To count like it is?
I am use to see a change about every 1/2 hr or so, not counting by: 10,000
every 5-seconds.
there is a problems somewhere ???

Thank you
Wayne

This has been resolved, as far as I know.
Will post back after more checking.
