Win2k DHCP can do this for you, setup with option 081 (The DNS Tab of scope
or server properties _is_ option 081) to always update DNS.
Option 006 DNS server address
Option 015 with the domain name you want the machines registered in.

Yes I knew about the DHCP option as we use it for NT 4.0 Servers (yes they
are still running)
So would it be valid that these non windows devices will NOT register with
the W2K DNS?
Options would be to create an alias or use DHCP?

Yes, as long as neither end is using secure Dynamic DNS updates and thereby
locking one in to either ISC's softwares or Microsoft's softwares.
