connect nt4 to w2k server

i have w2k server and one nt4 workstation but i could
connect to domain what are neccessary steps i should follow
what are the extra setting i have to do
pls guide me

i did so but it says that could not connect to this domain
someone told me that i need to have wins server and idid
so also but still doesnot work
in detail what idid is
tcp ip setting :- allow dhcp, entered dns ip and wins ip
address join to domain enter administrative account but in
return it says that could not locate it
i donot know which step is missing .....

Try this out

Edit Lmhosts file in the location C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc on
WINDOWS XP System. Restart the system and should be able to join
domain/login to domain also.

Replace PDCSERVER?PDC Server Host name and Domain-name in this entry is
case sensitive in the below file

IP ADDRESS   PDCSERVER   #PRE #DOM: DOMAIN-NAME
IP ADDRESS   "DOMAIN-NAME    \0x1b"   #PRE
