At this point it looks like you have a single-label domain name which is a
serious problem.

Can you post for us this info:
1. ipconfig /all from your DC
2. AD domain name from AD Users & Computers.
3. List of zones in DNS Forward Lookup Zones.

In the Windows200.dns group I posted a reply this morning that you should go
take a look at, The subject line is: Source Netlogon, Type Warning, Event ID
5781

Signature

Hope This Helps

Here is the info you are requesting:

1. Here is the info you asked for:
  ipconfig/all:
  Host Name: aws001
  Primary DNS Suffix: Albuquerque.webster.edu
  Node Type: Hybrid
  IP Routing Enabled: No
  WINS Proxy Enabled: No
  DNS Suffix Search List: Albuquerque.webster.edu
                          webster.edu

  Physical Address: 00-0C-F1-8B-FC-F1
  DHCP Enabled: No
  IP Adress: 10.11.40.100
  Subnet Mask: 255.255.252.0
  Default Gateway: 10.11.40.1
  DNS Servers: 10.0.20.100

2. The DNS name in the ADUC is not available. When I try
to get to it it gives me the following error:
"Naming information cannot be located because:
The specified doamin does not exist or cannot be
  located"

3. DNS
     AWS001
         Foward lookup zone
              albuquerque.webster.edu

     inside the folder: "albuquerque.webster.edu"
        Start of Authority  aws001.albuquerque.edu.,admin.
        Name Server   aws001.albuquerque.webster.edu
        Host   10.11.40.100

I hope I got everything you were asking for.

Thanx,

billings
