Can anyone tell me if there are any issues resulting from
upgrading from WinNT to 2000 server regarding DNS.  Are
the DNS records automatically replicated during the
upgrade before installation of Active Directory?  Do I
need to BU the DNS records to a file for importation into
DNS manager before the upgrade?  Has anyone done this
recently and experienced any issues?

Any help would be deeply appreciated...

Thanks!

1)  *Alwyas* make at least three backups before upgrading.  The first
is the real backup, the second is for when the first doesn't work and
the third is for wehn it was your own fault the first and second
didn't work.  :)

2)  No issues normally.  The DNS upgrades just fine, though you may
want to take the opportunity at upgrade to clean up some of your
naming issues.
