Tried to use WinNT backup utility to back up my registry
today and got the following error:
"A tape device has been detected, and the tape driver
started. However, the tape device is not responding. Check
that tape device power is on and cables are connected
properly."
My Dell PowerVault 110T backup unit is powered on and
connected properly as I can use the device to do my
nightly domain backups using ArcServeIT. I have closed all
other programs thinking that maybe Windows think it is
opened by another program and is giving me this generic
error but the problem still exists. Can anyone shed some
light on what else I can try?  Thanks

What did this have to do with DNS?
