Hello all,

I have this weird situation, on this particular pc when i
am logged in as administrator i can do name resolution,
like typing www.yahoo.com in IE and it works, but same
thing i try under user account this pc goes no where.

After this i open command prompt and do a nslookup for
yahoo and type in the ip address in browser it works under
user profile.Same thing for ftp.

I have installed new 3com pci nic card in this
system, before this with the old nic card everything was
working but during update of driver it stop responding, so
i have change the nic card. thought this will solve the
problem.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hello,

Could be a corrupt user profile.

Try adding a different one on to the PC, or get this one
deleted and recreated.

Or try the said profile on another PC and see if you get
the same problem.

Hope this helps.
