Windows Server Forum / Windows NT / DNS / September 2003DNS error
we keep getting this message over and over but can't figure out how to stop it. "NT Device: NY3DNSNT01 Log Type: System Event Type: Warning Event Source Name: Dns Event ID: 5504 Event Description: DNS Server encountered invalid domain name in packet from 192.31.80.30. Packet is rejected." Please respond back if any ideas how to fix it. Thanks Jimmy, You can find this at www.eventid.net. Select SEARCH EVENTS and enter in the Event ID.
