Windows Server Forum / Windows NT / Applications / May 2004Service Packs for NT 4.0
I've had to reinstall Windows Nt on my computer. I only had the Service Pack 3 CD. Had been running Service Pack 6 prior to problems. Do I need to install Service Packs 4 and 5 prior to loading Service Pack 6a. By the way, how to I get service pack 6 instead of 6a or is this an option? Thanks Bill Go straight to Sp6a, all service packs contain previous fixes. There is no Sp6 only Sp6a. Sp6 was out for a couple days before being replaced by 6a which is what you want.
