Looking for a current AV utility for my WinNT4 PC. However, I see that
McAfee and Norton product no longer support this OS. What to do other than
upgrade the OS?

What to do? You could buy a product that supports WinNT4. What about
one of these:

Kaspersky:
http://www.kaspersky.com/personalpro.html

NOD32:
http://www.nod32.com/home/home.htm

F-Prot for Windows:
http://www.f-prot.com/products/home_use/win/

Sophos:

Enjoy :-)

I run F-Prot for Windows on my NT4 systems. It's fast, has a
small footprint and uses very few resources. They have
almost daily updates. You can run it on all of you personal
PCs with one license and cost $29 USD a year.
