I am attempting to delete a link in a Microsoft Excel 2000
workbook.  I've used the Delete Links add-in from the
Microsoft website, but the link remains.  The link is to a
file C:\WINNT\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\...

Both workbooks were created at a former employer's
worksite.  I have tried to create a file with the same
name as the link, but have been unsuccessful.

Is there a way to delete this link?

Thanks.

Nothing to do with the operating system. Try pointing the link back to the
workbook or ask in one of excel groups.
