The server says I have seven thousand plus notations in the
Event Viewer.

When I go into it, it doesn't display anything and says "0
of 7310 displayed".

Anyone know why I can't see the log?

Also, when I open system log, it displays, but if I click
application log, it displays nothing, then when I go back
to system log, it displays nothing.

Thanks

You might try changing the file properties to "Overwrite as needed"

Else; Control Panel|Services|Event Log Service|General, set the "Startup
Type:" to "Disabled" restart the pc, then delete (or move) the corrupt *.evt
file(s) from %windir%\system32\config then set the Event Log Service
"Startup Type:" back to "Automatic", restart for effect.
