Computer operates on NT 4.0 SP6A. Recently had a new hard
drive installed

I am having a problem in downloading a file, which I have
been able to do on another computer, which has NT4.0
Workstation that was installed in 1999.
Had to install Microsoft Java VM, which was not installed
with the new hard drive.

Tried to repair Internet Explorer 6.0.
During process Internet Explorer 6 reported that it
couldn't be repaired due to the following errors:

    1) An error has occurred while setting up
C:\WINNT\System32\asctrls.oxc
This error has bee n logged and the installation
shall continue

    2) An error has occurred while setting up
C:\WINNT\System32\dxtrans.dll
This error has bee n logged and the installation
shall continue

How can I solve this problem?
Any help will be deeply appreciated
