What processes are absolutely necessary to be running on
NT?

Hi,

That is not an easy question to answer. The process names
vary depending on your hardware and installed services.

You can hang your machine if you kill the wrong process.
I would concentrate on disabling unecessary services and
startup applications if you want to optimize your server.
